2006-2009: Together with Mercy Corps, ABCO implemented the project of “Integrated Poverty Reduction Program in Vulnerable Rural Communities of Samtskhe –Javakheti Region”. Project was funded through the grant from European Commission. ABCO’s role in the project included implementation of its economic development component which provided for support to development of local enterprises and farmer organizations, establishment of market linkages/chains for local businesses to central markets, facilitation to re-integration of local economic activities into the whole country’s economy, etc., as well as provision of technical assistance for project beneficiaries in local economic planning (more...);
