2009: ABCO, together HEKS EPER, implemented project of “Livelihood Rehabilitation in Gori region” which aimed at providing help to IDPS returning home to areas affected by the conflict (in the buffer zone – 2 villages of Gori district - Tkviavi and Dzevera), in finding long-term solution for their livelihood recovery. “ABCO Georgia” ’s role within the project objectives includes conducting of the relevant works in the areas of a) Food Security for Economic Recovery (provision of 160 war affected returning families with machinery to mitigate the problem of food shortage) and b) Capacity Building (facilitation and fostering to food security by providing the appropriate trainings (community development, participatory approaches, small farm development) (more...);
