2010-2011: “Supporting Joint Livelihood Activities among Local Population from the Currently Occupied Akhalgori District and the Adjacent District of Georgia", under the COBERM Project
2010-2011: Together with Caritas Czech Republic, ABCO developed and carried out project on “Supporting Joint Livelihood Activities among Local Population from the Currently Occupied Akhalgori District and the Adjacent District of Georgia", under the COBERM (Confidence Building Early Response Mechanism) program funded by EC and implemented by UNDP. Project’s aim was to demonstrate benefits of collaborative economical/business activities of local people living across the conflict zone divide in restoring/building mutual confidence while addressing their common livelihood problems through joint operation of a small fruit processing/jam production and cold storage enterprise established by the project, operated by the specially formed Association with members representing local population of Georgian and Ossetia nationality from villages located across both sides of the conflict zone divide.
