2006-2008: Together with CARE Caucasus, ABCO implemented the project on “Sustainable Livelihoods in Adigeni and Adjacent Rayons” (SLAAR 2) in the Samtskhe-Javakheti region of Georgia. Project aimed at achieving sustainable improvements in livelihoods of rural population and reduction of poverty in the highland areas of Georgia. ABCO’s role in the project implied facilitation to farmers, small rural businesses, unemployed people and community groups within target districts in creating new businesses and increasing the efficiency of the existing local businesses, establishment of market linkages for local productions, etc (more...).
